USSR2 File: Kremlin-run polling agency: Russians view China as "most friendly country," USA as "key potential enemy"; Pravda: US-dominated world over
Just in time to legitimize the Kremlin's blatant war preparations against the West Russians, we learn, view the USA as their "key potential enemy." So much, too, for the Cold War-era lie in which Soviet Russia and Red China were "enemies." In New Lies for Old (1984) KGB defector Anatoliy Golitsyn ably dispels any misconceptions about the Sino-Soviet "split" as pure propaganda designed to confuse the West about the intentions of the Moscow-Beijing Axis. We can thank the state-owned All-Russia Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) for producing the statistics reported below and state-owned Kommersant Daily for publishing them.Meanwhile, Americans and their few allies stagger along in a collective stupor, viewing "post"-communist Russia as a resource-heavy country seeking worldwide market niches, with a Chechen terrorism "problem," some leftover nukes, an itchy trigger finger, and a "few" authoritarian tendencies of no consequence to the West. In his latest column (linked above) American geopolitical analyst Jeff Nyquist writes: "The American shopping mall regime produces stupefaction and complacency. The regime is predicated on economic optimism and entertainment. This optimism is about to be shattered. The Russians know this is going to happen, and they are preparing even as we fail to prepare."
China Is No Longer Potential Enemy for the Russians
August 30, 2007
The Russians view China the most friendly country, while the United States is the key potential enemy for them, signaled the poll of All-Russia’s Center of Public Opinion.
China is absolutely favored by 21 percent of respondents, which makes it the leader of preference list of the Russians. It is followed by Germany and Belarus, each of which with the vote of 12 percent. Of interest is that exactly Belarus was thought most friendly in 2006, while China was deemed the second potential enemy after the United States (16 percent past year vs. 3 percent this year). Though still leading amid the unfriendly nations, the bad score of the United States shed from 45 percent to 26 percent. Today’s second enemy for the Russians is Georgia (19 percent), while the third leading position is shared by Britain, the Baltic nations and Ukraine (7 percent each).
Another feature of this year’s poll is the surge in number of undetermined respondents - 49 percent (vs. 37 percent in 2006) proved unable to call Russia’s friends, and 51 percent (vs. 26 percent) found it too difficult to name enemies.
As to China, the favorable rating could be attributed to the active economic and political cooperation, especially in Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the analysts speculate, pointing out that Belarus fell on gas clashes with Russia.

In addition to state-run agencies, Pravda, the organ of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, is gloating over the resumption of the Russian strategic bomber patrols and the end of a 15-year period in which NATO aircraft dominated the skies of Europe.
The resumption of flights for Russian strategic bombers made NATO express serious concerns on the matter. In addition, NATO closely watches tests of a new Russian submarine. This news made "the most democratic country in the world" see that Russia is an equal rival for NATO. The NATO command is seriously concerned about the surprises that Russia makes.
When Russia’s strategic aviation recommenced flights in the areas of its traditional patrolling the Pentagon and European headquarters were shocked to learn the news. Russian aircraft have not patrolled the air space above the Atlantic waters within the past fifteen years, which made NATO believe that it held the absolute power there.
There are even some hysteric statements saying that the recommencement of flights by strategic aviation of the Russian Federation may mean the start of a new cold war. But some experts scoff at Moscow’s attempts to scare Europe with its outdated airplanes as they call the Russian strategic bombers.
Although the CPRF has declared its intentions to oust the Putinist-Chekist-Gryzlovist-Surkovist regime in the Kremlin, the communist leadership has no objections to the Russian Air Force's combat-ready status and the revitalization of the country's military-industrial complex. Even more so, the CPRF gloats over what it sees as the impending demise of the USA as a result of Washington's "neoconservative doctrine": "Now the structure of the one-pole world is coming tumbling down."
It is quite logic that Russia is actively reviving its military industrial complex and recommencing patrolling of the strategic aviation. In the past years, the West traditionally treated Russia as a weak part that regularly proposed peace initiatives and demanded peace for its own security. So, the West saw the role of Moscow as that of a petitioner.
But when Russia exhausted all the opportunities to make all countries friends it decided to pursue its own interests. That made the West and Europe first of all realize that Moscow would have its own way independently and may act even contrary to Europe’s interests.
After the breakup of the USSR the USA felt its global responsibility that later transformed into unrestricted domination over the world that allowed Washington to apply a neoconservative doctrine and intrude countries with unwanted regimes. Now the structure of the one-pole world is coming tumbling down.
Russia is not the only country that disagrees with the present-day model of the world order, and Moscow knows how to make others hear its opinion. Russia can definitely be an equal rival to NATO in the sky and at sea.
Russia's hidden communist masters have given the signal: War with the West is coming.

No major surprise about state-run polls declaring America to be its "enemy", along with the mouth piece of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation/Soviet Union getting into the mix.
You might also want to add that the Kremlin puppets in power of Tehran also believe that America and Israel are the main enemies. Since the Iranian leadership and media promote Leftist propaganda of how the U.S. is "behind" the likes of "al-Qaeda" and the Taliban.
