Communist Bloc Military Updates: Russian Tu-142, Il-38 ASW aircraft test new EW gear, weapons over Barents, Norwegian Seas; NATO fighter jets shadow
Neo-Soviet Russia continues to project its power over the polar region with the latest mission over the Barents and Norwegian Seas. In this incident NATO fighter jets shadowed a Tupolev Tu-142 Bear maritime reconnaissance/anti-submarine warfare (ASW) aircraft, which is a variant of the turboprop Tu-95 Bear bomber, and an Ilyushin Il-38, which is also an ASW aircraft (pictured above). The two Russian military planes were testing new electronic warfare (EW) equipment, according to the Novosti report below.Russian Navy aircraft test new weapons in Arctic

MOSCOW, July 24 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Northern Fleet Tu-142 Bear and Il-38 May anti-submarine aircraft have tested new electronic equipment and precision-guided weapons over the Barents and Norwegian Sea, a Navy spokesman said on Thursday.
"Advanced onboard electronic equipment and weapon control systems were tested during the flights. The tests have shown their high effectiveness," Capt. 1st Rank Igor Dygalo said.
He added that at some stage of the flights, Russian aircraft were accompanied by NATO warplanes, stressing that all such flights are conducted strictly in accordance with international agreements and the norms of international law.
Russia resumed strategic bomber patrol flights over the Pacific, Atlantic, and Arctic oceans last August, following an order signed by then-president Vladimir Putin. Russian bombers have since carried out over 80 strategic patrol flights and have often been escorted by NATO planes.
Air Force commander, Col. Gen. Alexander Zelin said in April that Russia would drastically increase the number of strategic patrol flights over the world's oceans to 20-30 a month in the near future.
The Arctic is becoming an area of increasing international focus due to the potentially large deposits of natural resources, including oil and natural gas, located there.
This month the Russian Navy resumed a permanent presence around Norway's Svalbard archipelago, where the Kremlin maintains a coal mining settlement, established by international treaty. Last month we reported that the Kremlin is preparing to wage Arctic warfare to back up its claims to the natural resources, namely, oil, under the polar seabed.

Hmm, no major surprise here that the Kremlin continues its assault on the Artic. It's also been revealed that in the Artic and also Antartica that there are major oil reserves that would last the world demand for at least three years or so.
You may wish to look into this Ronald Weinland whom states that he is some sort of a Christian:
http://www.the-end.com/
In which case, Weinland has authored two books detaling on the fall of the USA, but Weinland never mentions any warnings by Anatoliy Golitsyn or other KGB defectors warning the West on the phony fall of Communism. He does, however tell that a United Europe would be the center for the AntiChrist under Christian perspective.
Here's a site which criticizes Weinland of lying to his followers:

You may wish to explore some self-described Christians whom wish to spin the End Time warnings for their own purposes. Not for the purpose of G-d's Kingdom.
Here's the site to Weinland's church, titled the Church of God Preparing for the Kingdom of God:
http://www.cog-pkg.org/
It's made up of "ex"-members of the Worldwide Church of God which is an open member of the Leftist infiltrated National Association of Evangelicals which promotes "global warming" propaganda.
